Obituary for Timothy Bregenzer
Timothy "Gorilla" Bregenzer, 54, passed away in his home on Thursday June 4th, 2020. He was born in Queens, NY to Leonard Bregenzer and Marie Burke on May 12th, 1966. He grew up in Woodhaven and Queens alongside his sister Ida, and brothers Kevin and JP.
Timothy is survived by his parents, Marie and Bobby Burke, his siblings, his four children: Joshua, Ashley, Adam and Michelle, and eight grandchildren. He was a beloved nephew, cousin, uncle and best friend to more than can be counted.
Tim was well known for his ability to bring laughter wherever he went. Even on your worst days, Tim could make you giggle! Because Tim loved life deeply and lived fully in every moment. When his kids were young, he was the Dad pulling quarters out of ears and banging on his chest yelling "I'm a gorilla. Oooh oooh". He enjoyed spending time with loved ones, cooking and the outdoors. When he wasnt doing that, you could find him with his buddies from New Jersey Ironworkers Local Union #11, where he spent 30 years doing what he loved.
Tim may be gone, but his memory lives on with all those who cared for him.
