Obituary for Robinson "Pee Wee" Cruz

At 4:20am on September 1st 2021, Robinson “Pee Wee” Cruz transitioned peacefully at home at age 75 after a hard fought battle with cancer, surrounded by his loved ones. He had incredible faith and was looking forward to being reunited with his parents: Georgina and Antonio Cruz, his siblings; Angel, Elba, Larry, Marcos his twin Hilton his nephew Luis and his brothers in law Augie and Jimmy. He is survived by his Brother and Sister in law Antonio and Nina, his sisters Mirta and Idella , his brother in law Ralph, sister in law Judy and his beloved Sister in Law Rosa who graciously took him in and cared for him and his precious dog Lobo for the last 11 years of his life. Although Pee Wee had no children of his own, he sincerely loved and took immense pride in his nieces and nephews, their spouses, his great nieces and great-nephews ,their spouses and his dear friends who blessed him with companionship. His adoration of his great-great nieces and nephews, their unconditional love for him and his ability to actually experience their births and watch them grow was by far his greatest joy which he often called a gift. It was his wish to not have a service or a funeral, instead he wanted to be toasted to, celebrated and remembered for his endurance, story telling, words of advice, poetry, domino skills, and his ability to overcome obstacles and live and die on his terms. He was loved by and will be missed by many.
