Mildred D Wassum, age 64, loving mother to Virginia Maurer-Negron and Theresa Maurer, and wife to Thomas R Wassum, passed away in the late hours of February 23, 2023 after a courageous battle with cancer. Mildred was born in 1959 in Tennessee to a large family. She had 6 siblings. Mildred was always a compassionate caring woman, always giving her time to others. As a mother she was generous and kind. Mildred was also a grandmother and adored all of her grandchildren.

"Mother, you left us beautiful memories, your love is still our guide, although we cannot see you, you're always at our side."

To honor our mother's wishes. A funeral service will not be held. We invite you to please privately celebrate Mildred's memory your own ways. We know she will be with all of us in spirit.
