Lynn Kuka (November 17, 1942 – January 7, 2022)
Loving wife, mom and nana, Lynn Kuka, age 79, of Bethlehem passed away Friday January 7, 2022 at home. Born November 17, 1942 to parents Samuel Shubrooks and Edith Lockwood (Dickson) Shubrooks. Lynn graduated from Lebanon Valley College with a degree in Medical Technology. She worked as a medical technologist at Sacred Heart Hospital while raising two sons. Later she ran her own hydroponic plant business and then built and ran a water testing lab for Town and Country Labs in Allentown. Her last and favorite job was working with disabled adults at Community Services Group in Bethlehem. In retirement she enjoyed gardening, going to yard sales with her best friend Linda, reading books, doing puzzles, playing games on her kindle, and especially loved playing with her granddaughter Emilee. Most of all she loved her family and friends and was always thinking of others. She will be dearly missed and forever in our hearts. Survived by husband Joseph, sons Joseph and Richard, daughter-in-law Leslie, granddaughter Emilee, brother Samuel Shubrooks and best friend Linda Hoch. Her wishes were to have no funeral service or viewing.
