Obituary for Lindo Ligrest Jr.
Lindo (Lin) A. Ligrest, Jr., 79, passed away peacefully on January 27, 2022 at LV Hospice Cedar Crest surrounded by his stepdaughters.
Lin proudly served his country in the U. S. Navy. His employment career included sales and transportation positions. He most recently was a van driver transporting Norfolk Southern railroad employees. Lin loved spending time with family and friends. He was a musician and had played in various local bands and at church. Lin loved riding motorcycles and was on the cover of Motor Cycle World Magazine in 1976. He was a member of Nativity Lutheran Church in Allentown. Lin will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Lin is preceded in death by his loving wife of 12 years, Sandra (Fritzinger/DeBellis) Ligrest. He is survived by his stepdaughters Cheryl DeBellis and Betty-Jean DeBellis, step grandchildren Jace (Tyler Ashley) and Jenae (Andy), and step great-grandson Maddox.
Funeral Service for Lin will be held at 11:30am on Monday, Feb. 7th 2022 at Nativity Lutheran Church, 4004 Tilghman St, Allentown, PA 18104. Family and Friends may call from 11:00am till the time of the service.
Contributions: In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be offered to Nativity Lutheran Church in memory of Lin. Masks are required for everyone age two and older.
