Obituary for Lana Edwards
Lana Lia Edwards, age 40, of Reading, PA, passed away suddenly in her home on Wednesday, October 7, 2020.
Born in Bethlehem, Lana was the daughter of Kenneth Pope and Lois Burley.
Lana was full of life and a shining star even in the darkest of times. She was extremely supportive to her family, friends and her community. Her vibrant personality was always evident, whether it was her quick wit or her love for Elephants or Hello Kitty on her desk at Santander Bank where she was a supervisor. To know her is to love her. She is one of a kind and the most caring, smart, thoughtful loving, loyal person. She is quick witted and you wouldn’t catch her off guard. Everyone had a nickname from Lana. The color pink was everywhere and on everything along with her sunglasses that screamed diva!
In addition to her parents, Lana is survived by her children; Daevaun Edwards, Avrian Mack and Jaila Jackson, brother; Kenneth U. Edwards, sisters; Kenita Edwards and Dana Edwards, aunt; Azilee Lassiter, cousins; Carl, Dominick and Donny.
Lana is preceded in death by her aunts; Pam and Jamie.
Family and friends may call on Wednesday, October 14, 2020 from 10-11am at Allentown Funeral and Cremation Services, 3438 Route 309, Orefield, PA 18069 with services to follow at 11am. Committal service at Nisky Hill Cemetery in Bethlehem. Mask and social distancing will be required for services.
