Obituary for Jeanne Baker (Yahner)
Jeanne C. Baker, 80, of Shenandoah passed away Friday, May 13, 2022 at Lehigh Valley – Cedar Crest, surrounded by those she loved.
Born in Spangler, PA, on January 8, 1942 to the late Joseph and Catherine (Mcateer) Yahner.
She attended High School in Patton, PA
On October 24, 1959 she was married to the late Eugene Baker, who proceeded her in death October 1984.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was proceeded in death by three daughters, Chris Sterling, Bonnie Potter and Cheryl Baker; and her companion of 20 years, Charles Hilton.
She enjoyed spending time with her family, camping, playing cards, fishing, playing bingo, crocheting blankets for every member of her family and baking the best pies anyone has ever tasted.
Her large, loving family includes her children, Eugene Baker, and his wife Cathy, of Bethlehem, Debra Revinski, and her husband Leonard, of Locustdale, James Baker and his wife Lisa, of Mahanoy City, and Sandy Baker of Shenandoah; 18 Grandchildren and 26 Great-Grandchildren; a sister, Mary Stoltz, and her husband Joe, of Patton, a brother, Joseph Yahner, and companion Susan, of Altoona; several nieces and nephews.
Family and Friends of Jeanne C. Baker are respectfully invited to attend the graveside funeral service for Jeanne, which will be held at St. Augustine Church, 803 St. Augustine Road, Dysart, PA 16636 on Saturday, June 4, 2022 at 10 o’clock in the morning.
