Obituary for Janice "Mom-Mom" Fink (Clauss)

Janice E. Clauss Fink, affectionately known to family and friends as Mom-Mom, passed away Saturday, March 2nd, 2019 at Lehigh Valley Hospital-17th and Chew. She was the loving wife of William E. Fink for 33 years who died in 1989.

Born in Allentown, Janice was the daughter of the late Elsie Lacey and Robert Clauss. She was a 1955 graduate of Allentown High School. Janice’s work experience included working at HL Green (aside of Hess’s Allentown), as the floor lady in various garment shops in the Lehigh Valley, ILGWU officer, and as a nurse’s aid at Manor Care. Most importantly she was a stay-at-home mom. She also served in the positions of secretary and treasurer for the Eager Bieber club in the 1960's and 70's.

Mom-mom enjoyed her gardening, shore vacations, playing cards, trips out to the cabin for a peaceful weekend, cooking, and mostly her family to whom she devoted her all.

Mom-mom is survived by her brother; Robert Clauss, his wife, Sally, sons; William Fink, and his wife, Lori, Gary Fink, daughters; Cindy Fink and Cheryl Fink; 13 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren. A memorial service for Mom-Mom will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family.
