James “Jim” Scheirer, age 58, of Allentown, passed away on Sunday, January 8, 2023 at St. Luke’s Hospital Main Campus. He was the loving husband of Keri (Strohl) Scheirer.

Born in Allentown, Jim was a son to the late James and Myrtle (Shirk) Scheirer.

Jim was a Graduate of Dieruff High School in Allentown and Lehigh County Vo-Tech where he studied plumbing. He started his Plumbing career in 1986 for Modern Plumbing. Then joined the Plumbers Union Local 690 in 1998 where he worked for 25 years before retiring in September 2022.
Jim loved fishing, baseball card collecting, bird watching and spending time with his family and dog. He was a huge NY Mets and Philadelphia Eagles fan.
He was a loving husband and father. Most of all he cherished being PaPa to his 3 beautiful granddaughters.
In addition to his wife Keri, Jim is survived by his sons, Jeff and wife Steph, Josh and his significant other Shanna, Brothers Bill and wife Mary, Sisters Jane and Husband Jim Marencik and Linda Boyer, Granddaughters Sawyer, Melaina and Veda, his loyal companion Harvey and multiple nieces and Nephews He was predeceased by his brother David
