Obituary for David Hershbell
David A. Hershbell, age 72, of Allentown, passed on Nov. 28th, 2019 at St. Luke’s Allentown Hospital. He was the loving husband of Charlene Hershbell (Eckroade).
Born in Allentown, David was the son of the late Paul Frank Hershbell and Betty Mae Smith.
David served his country in the Pennsylvania National Guard. He worked in Sales and Marketing in the Forging industry for over forty years specializing in defense related projects. David was an avid fly fisherman and equine sporting enthusiast. He served as a Certified Steward for National Steeplechase and the Racing Officials Accreditation Program for over twenty years.
In addition to his wife Charlene, David is survived by his son; Scott, grand daughter Lauren, his brother Jackson and wife Anne. He was predeceased by his daughter Alison.
A memorial service and interment for David will be held at a later date.
