Obituary for Daniel Koch
Daniel "Danny" Jay Koch, age 43, passed away on February 5, 2022, in his home surrounded by loved ones.
Born in Allentown, he was the son of Bruce Koch and Darlene Dorward.
Danny graduated in 1996 from Palmerton High School where he was lovingly known by many as "The Mayor".
Danny's strong work ethic was on display as he worked his way up at Blue Ridge Country Club. He started out as a cart attendant working his way up until he was promoted to bar manager.
He served his community as a volunteer fire fighter with the Bowmanstown Volunteer Fire Company starting at the age of 16. Danny worked as an EMT for the Palmerton and Lehighton Ambulance Association since 2011 and 2013, respectively.
In addition to his parents, Danny is survived by Fiancée Stephanie Bongo with children: Lilliana, Ava, and Estella, his brother Brian, sister Leeann, niece Julianna, and stepmom Diane.
Danny is preceded in death by his Aunt Pauline and Uncle Donald Noll, grandparents Robert Koch and Valeria Koch-Beck and Paul and Esther Dorward.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday February 19th at 11:00 AM, With calling hours starting at 9:00 AM. The celebration will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church, 500 Ore St. Bowmanstown, PA 18030. A luncheon in his honor will be at Bowmanstown Volunteer Fire Company following the conclusion of the celebration.
Danny will be missed by everyone that was lucky enough to have known him, and those that will never get the chance to meet him.
