Anna Valvano, age 62, passed away peacefully on March 19th surrounded by her family. She was the beloved wife of Steven T. Valvano, with whom she shared 43 years of marriage. She was born to John and Beatrice Caruso on January 3, 1961 in Newark, New Jersey. She attended Bloomfield schools and graduated in 1979. Anne was a dedicated employee of the Pocono Mountain School District for many years, where she made a positive impact on the lives of staff students alike. She is remembered for her beautiful smile, infectious laugh and good sense of humor. She was one of Jehovahs Witnesses.
Anna was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband Steven Valvano, her children Steven Valvano and wife Jennifer of Bushkill Township, Tara Parisi and husband Steven Parisi of Eldred Township, Jason Valvano, of Bethlehem township, her three grandchildren Sydney, Violet, and Gabriel, and Mother Beatrice Caruso, brothers John and Joseph Caruso. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
A funeral service will be held on April 1st at 2pm at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovahs Witnesses at 2718 Linden Street, Bethlehem PA, 18017.
