Obituary for Ana Gaona
Ana E. Gaona, age 67, of Easton, passed away at St. Luke’s Warren Hospital on Sunday, May 16, 2021.
Born in Bogota Colombia, she was the daughter of Luis A. Gaona and Maria E. Rodriguez.
At age 17, Ana moved to New York City from Bogota, Colombia. It was during that time when she met the love of her life Rafael Camacho and got married. She then started her family and had 3 children.
Ana left an indentation in the life of everyone she encountered. She was always the life of the party, loved her music and danced the night away. Ana always knew how to lighten up the mood with her simple jokes but when things were a bit more serious, she always knew the right things to say with her knowledge and wisdom of life. She was so caring and nurturing and loved her grandchildren immensely along with her siblings that she loved and made many memories with while growing up. Ana was also an amazing mother that raised 3 children and gave them everything that she possibly could while giving them the education and the life lessons along with the wisdom to be able to continue on in the world without her. She was so loved and will be missed by many.
Ana is survived by her daughters, Katherine Pulido, Cynthia Camacho and Vanessa Camacho, Grandchildren, Nayeli Camacho, Anthony Pulido, Cyana Rodriguez, Jalexiya Hardison, Mahkai Hardison and Rafael Modlin, siblings, Marina Cutiva, Angel Gaona, Hector Gaona and Maria Elena Gaona. In addition to her parents, Ana is preceded in death by her husband Rafael Camacho.
